Name: Ray Sansonei
Age: 20
Ethnicity:
Japanese/Irish
About: Ray's quiet, and because of past hardships, has grown accustomed to going through life on his own. He has a sarcastic sense of humor, even if it only shows its face now and then. Usually, he's nonconfrontational and tries to keep himself, up until Aya throws herself into his lap.
His past will be revealed through the comic; although the reason why he transferred to this particular university was to be closer to his younger sister (revealed later).
Name: Aya Vargas
Age: 20
Ethnicity: Caucasian (mutt)
About: Aya's outgoing, nice, and happy. She was lucky enough to grow up in a two-parent househould, with a fairly typical adolescence (she had enough friends, several boyfriends, awkward teen years, etc.). This only reinforces her can-do attitude, which leads her into Ray's life.
She knew Charley in high school, and from then 'til now, she has continued to turn him down for dates. She doesn't like his arrogance, or his snobby attitude, even though she's somewhat self-absorbed, herself. She still has a lot of growing to do.
Her blue hair is a result of a mutation (according to her parents) during pregnancy -- she was a test-tube baby, so-to-speak.
Name: Charley Edwards
Age: 20
Ethnicity: caucasian (mutt)
About: Charley's your basic rich, arrogant, college guy. He also has a lot of growing to do. As it is, he's not a very interesting person. This will change over time.
Name: Grace Sansonei
Age: 16
Ethnicity: Japanese/Irish
About: Grace is a fairly cheerful teenager, happy that her biggest worries these days are boys, finals, and an overprotectiv brother. She's mature for her age, and in spite her past (which will be revealed as the story progresses), she has a fairly positive view of the world and is well-rounded. She and Ray have a close bond, and she's quite happy that he's living within driving distance finally. She continuously pushes and teases Ray to be more social; she figures someone has to.
